ResourceTek, a leader in technical support services, is currently seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technician with Electrical and CNC troubleshooting experience to join our client, a leader in heavy industrial manufacturing in Houston, TX.
Technicians will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting electrical and mechanical equipment and plant operations in a heavy manufacturing environment. Ideally, technicians should have previous experience in troubleshooting, repairing, installation, and (PM) Preventative Maintenance programs for large industrial equipment, including hydraulic and pneumatic systems. Qualified candidates must have a minimum of 4 years’ experience in respective fields and possess excellent troubleshooting & problem-solving skills. The ability to prioritize maintenance and troubleshooting procedures is necessary.
Candidates with CNC and PLC repair with Industrial Maintenance highly desired. Candidates must be able and willing to work any day of the week and shift needed. Ability to work in a team is required.
CNC Industrial Maintenance Technician Job Requirements:
- Must have at least 2 years of experience working on CNC lathes, preferable Mori Seiki, Okuma, and/or Mazak lathes.
- Ability to troubleshoot, diagnose and replace CNC electronic boards and related hardware.
- Knowledgeable on troubleshooting, diagnostics, replacement and setup of Fanuc Servo drives and Servo motors.
- Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose spindle drives (AC and DC).
- Must be capable of reading and understanding mechanical and electrical schematics and diagrams.
- Should be able of reading and understand the CNC machine ladder diagrams.
- Basic Electrician skills, including correct wiring practices, replacement of electrical components including push buttons, breakers, motor starters and field sensors is required.
- In addition to CNC, as a member of the Preventative Maintenance Team, it is desired that this position be capable of troubleshoot and help on the replacement of ball screws, gears, clutches and spindle bearings.
- Able to follow all maintenance safety practices including Lock Out/Tag Out procedures and Risk Analysis prior to starting the maintenance tasks and adhere to all “Best Practices" on the industrial safety programs implemented by company.
