Position Summary:
Provides support with the daily operations of the Willed Body Program. This individual will interact with families who are mourning the loss of a loved one or receiving hospice services due to last stages of life, as well as communicating with medical and/or funeral service professionals.
Position Key Accountabilities:
1. Effective and efficient communication skills.
2. Data Entry and monitoring of donor registration forms, death certificates, and updating information in an electronic database.
3. Handling cremated remains and dealing with families for the return of cremated remains.
4. Management of all hard-copy and digital donor records.
5. Mailing of donor cards and/or donor forms to families or patients.
6. Other duties as assigned.
Certification/Skills:
Working knowledge of standard Office Software such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook is required.
Minimum Education:
Bachelor’s degree level of higher education in business related field required. Equivalent level of education and/or experience may substitute for education requirement.
Minimum Experience:
Three (3) years related work experience preferred.
Physical Requirements:
Exerts up to 20 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to 10 pounds frequently and/or a negligible amount constantly to move objects.
