**Overview:** We are seeking a dedicated English as a Second Language (ESL) Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for educating and supporting students in their language learning journey. **Duties:** - Develop and implement engaging lesson plans to teach English language skills to non-native speakers - Provide individualized instruction to meet the diverse needs of students - Create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment conducive to learning - Assess student progress and adjust teaching methods accordingly - Collaborate with colleagues and parents to support student development - Utilize various teaching methods and resources to enhance language acquisition **Requirements:** - Bachelor's degree in Education or related field - ESL teaching certification preferred - Experience working with diverse student populations, including those with special needs or English Language Learners (ELL) - Strong communication and interpersonal skills - Knowledge of childhood development principles - Familiarity with Montessori or other alternative teaching methodologies - Proficiency in English grammar, writing, and proofreading - Ability to adapt teaching strategies for different learning styles - Understanding of standardized testing practices in education - Experience working with individuals with autism spectrum disorder is a plus
