Job Summary:
The Senior Construction Project Manager will provide high level program management and administrative services for civil infrastructure and water treatment facility projects. Daily responsibilities include analysis, training, and communications with the Client, Contractor, Engineer, and interested parties. This role will also include owner representation, agency coordination, and liaison for multiple clients and project types.
Typical Duties and Responsibilities:

Conduct meetings at department level to review and establish Standard Operating Procedures.

Conduct monthly meetings with field personnel to address field issues, training, and process improvements.

Perform plan reviews for constructability.

Review bid forms, bid items, contracts.
-
Oversee preparation of quantity take-off for bidding purposes.

Conduct pre-bid conferences, pre-construction meetings, bid openings.
-
Response to bidder and contractor’s questions, contractor submittals.

Preparation of contract award and recommendation letters.
-
Analysis, negotiation, recommendation of change orders, as needed.

Review of contractor pay requests.

Review of as-built drawings.
-
Review of CMT and test reports.

Preparation of as-built and submittal of agency acceptance packages.

Coordination of City/County/TCEQ inspection.

Expert knowledge of construction details, local construction techniques, and relevant rules, regulations, and quality standards.

Understanding of all facets of the civil infrastructure and water plant construction process.

Familiarity with construction management and administrative software packages such as (Zoom, MS Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, Project, Bluebeam, etc.)

Education, certification and experience:
-
Possess bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, construction supervision, or similar degree in engineering or construction field.
- Minimum 15 years of related construction project manager experience preferred.

Valid Driver’s License Required.
- Must have reliable/dependable transportation.

Must maintain minimum vehicle insurance as required by state law.
