- Supervise the duties of all stewarding department employees, facilities, operation and costs
- Supervise the sanitation, cleanliness, hygiene the quality level of product and services
- Direct and assist Stewards in order to make clean up more efficient
- Coordinate with the Sous Chef in establishing minimum and maximum operating par stocks and supplies and approve storeroom requisition.
- To ensure that the silver receives proper treatment and is cleaned/ burnished according to the schedule
- To assist the Stewards with day-to-day operations at the Club
- To supervise and enforce proper hygiene practices in all F&B back-of-house areas
- To monitor and maintain cleaning standards of all equipment, containers and food contact surfaces, whilst being involved in daily cleaning.
- To supervise all aspects of cleaning & chemical supplies, usage and care, receiving, and storing.
- To collaborate closely with the Kitchen and Service teams on the success of day-to-day operations
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years experience
- Bilingual English/Spanish
- Participate in scheduled training and development programs provided by the Club to improve self and department standards and attend departmental meetings as required.
- Ensure wherever possible that employees are provided with a workplace free of discrimination, harassment and victimization.
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum 2 years work experience as Lead Steward or Assistant Lead Steward in a hotel, private club, or large restaurant with good standards.
