As a Marketing Assistant on our fundraising team, you will play a crucial role in representing our clients during community based fundraising events and ensuring the seamless execution of onsite logistics. You will be the face of our clients brand, engaging with customers and potential donors to create a positive and memorable experience. This position requires exceptional communication, interpersonal skills, and a passion for our clients mission.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the setup and preparation of fundraising events, including arranging signage, promotional materials, and fundraising booths.
- Act as the primary point of contact for event attendees, donors, and sponsors, with the goal of generating revenue for our clients.
- Ensure that the event is clean and organized at all times.
- Promote and communicate the mission, goals, and impact of our clients fundraising campaigns effectively.
- Engage with customers and community members to build a positive brand name for our clients.
- Coordinate with event organizers and vendors to ensure a smooth flow of activities.
- Track and record all donations.
- Prepare event reports, including feedback and suggestions for improvement.
- Uphold the highest standards of professionalism and ethics in all interactions.
- Adhere to all relevant legal and regulatory requirements related to fundraising.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor's degree preferred).
- Previous experience in event coordination, customer service, or sales is a plus.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and public speaking skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Enthusiasm for our fundraising mission and goals.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Willingness to work evenings and weekends as required for events.
- Reliable transportation to event locations.
