About the job
We are looking for a tech-savvy Industrial Automation Engineer to assist with the selling of complex scientific and technological products or services. If you are programming, mechanically or electrically capable and want to keep developing new skills in robotic bottling system technology. Then, you are the correct candidate for us.
Responsibility:
- Automation System Design: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and develop automation systems tailored to meet manufacturing requirements.
- PLC Programming: Create, modify, and debug PLC programs and ladder logic to control and monitor manufacturing equipment.
- Computer Aided Design (CAD): Create and modify components and assemblies for existing and future automation systems.
- Integration: Ensure seamless integration of automation solutions with existing manufacturing equipment and systems.
- Testing and Validation: Conduct thorough testing and validation of automation systems to ensure functionality and performance.
- Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve automation-related issues and equipment malfunctions in a timely manner to minimize downtime.
- Continuous Improvement: Propose and implement process improvements to enhance automation efficiency and productivity.
- Safety Compliance: Ensure automation systems comply with safety standards and regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
- Documentation: Create comprehensive technical documentation, including specifications, user manuals, electrical diagrams, and troubleshooting guides.
- Training: Provide training to operators and maintenance personnel on the operation and maintenance of automated systems.
- Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, maintenance, and production teams to optimize automation processes and meet production goals.
Requirements
- Applicants must have a valid working permit in United States of America
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or a related field. Relevant certifications are a plus.
- Have a strong background in PLC controls and ladder logic.
- Both with experience or first-graduate are welcome.
- Hands-on experience with manufacturing equipment, automated machinery, and industrial control systems.
- Experience with robotic systems, including six-axis industrial robots, SCARA robots, and/or collaborative robots.
- Experience with machine vision systems, including Keyence, Zebra, or Cognex vision cameras, software, and vision tools.
- Proficiency in PLC programming languages (e.g., ladder logic, structured text) and HMI (Human-Machine Interface) development.
- Familiarity with industrial communication protocols (e.g., Ethernet/IP, Modbus) and SCADA systems.
- Solid understanding of safety standards and regulations related to automation and manufacturing processes.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex automation issues.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities, with a focus on collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Detail-oriented and able to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Willing to travel out of city or overseas for business travel if required by the company.
- You are a flexible, stress-resistant team player who works customer-oriented.
