Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Conference Operations (DCO) to direct our East Coast Conference team’s administrative operations and to build our capacity to serve affiliated churches, mission agencies, and leaders, and to grow stronger in our shared Christian mission. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, strategic planning abilities, and a proven track record in servant leadership roles.
Purpose: The Director of Conference Operations (DCO) is responsible for leading and managing overall administrative operations, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness in all processes.
The DCO will develop and implement strategic planning, project management, and continuous process improvements to optimize operational performance, aligning operations with our vision, values, goals and objectives.
The DCO directs general operations, communications, informatics, finance/bookkeeping (receivables and payables), budget planning, properties administration, clergy credentialing, governing boards’ meetings & officers support, annual meeting planning, events planning, technology and troubleshooting, and documentation management. The DCO works closely with all staff and contractors, and reports directly to the Superintendent/CEO.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field; MBA preferred
- Proven experience in senior leadership positions with a focus on operations management
- Strong background in strategic planning, process improvement, and business development
- Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to drive successful outcomes
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and foster a collaborative work environment

Pay: $50,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
