Pay Range $40.00-$65.00, based on experience

Job Summary
This position is responsible for performing ultrasounds according to provider orders, for obstetric and gynecologic patients.
Duties/Responsibilities
- Perform ultrasound procedures by following providers orders.
- Educates patients/families on procedures to be performed
- Perform ultrasounds applicable to Maternal Fetal Medicine practice, including first trimester ultrasounds, NT, detailed anatomy ultrasounds in the second and third trimester, complete ultrasounds, follow-up ultrasounds, transvaginal cervical ultrasound according to CLEAR, Fetal and Maternal Doppler studies, BPP, and 3D reformatting and rendering.
- Fetal echocardiography and ultrasound guidance for procedures of amniocentesis and CVS is a plus.
- Perform ultrasounds for nonpregnant patients, including pelvic complete and limited ultrasounds, pelvic Doppler, and 3D reformatting of uterus and adnexa where indicated.
- Create reports in Viewpoint 6, with timely and accurate documentation.
- Insure that ultrasound machine and transducers are in good working order.
- Insure the efficient sonography workflow at the site of operation, and work with management, physicians, NPs, and other staff, in this regard.
Required Skills/Abilities
- Excellent ultrasound skills, interest in working toward additional certifications such as Fetal Echocardiography.
- Excellent communication skills with patients and staff
- Ability and motivation to adhere to policies and protocols at Valley Perinatal
- Ability to gather and analyze patient data.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with patients, medical staff, management, and peers.
- Work with EHR and ultrasound report generator .
- Maintain educational credits for RDMS
- Interest in advancing education, and assisting with education of students and residents rotating through Valley Perinatal.
Education /Experience
- RDMS certification, including OBGYN and abdominal.
- Two years’ experience with OB/GYN ultrasound, preferably at least one year MFM ultrasounds and procedures
- NT and CLEAR certification.
Physical Requirements
- Must be able to walk, sit, and stand for extended intervals
- Flexibility regarding office location assignment
Flexible scheduling is available, based on 4 or 5 days per week.
