Duties:
- Provide direct patient care in residential settings, including intermediate residential treatment setting, psychiatric individualized support living and clustered apartments.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Monitor medication administration by Level I Medication Aides in the settings to assure the accuracy of medication administration.
- Monitor and assess patient conditions, including vital signs, symptoms, and changes in health status.
- Utilize NextGen electronic medical record system to document patient information accurately.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
- Supervise residential support staff and provide after-hours on-call coverage for medical information.
Qualifications:
- Valid RN license in the state of Missouri.
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in healthcare settings with at least one-year of mental health nursing experience.
- Proficiency in medication administration.
- Familiarity with electronic medical record systems, such as NextGen.
- Strong knowledge infection control practices.
- Ability to provide compassionate and patient-centered care.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Flexibility to work in various residential settings and adapt to changing patient needs.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $30.21 - $40.59 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
