We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Bookkeeper to join our finance team and contribute to our continued success.
Job Responsibilities:
- Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and daily financial transactions.
- QuickBooks Management: Utilize QuickBooks to manage and process financial data, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
- Reconciliation: Perform regular bank and account reconciliations to ensure financial accuracy.
- Reporting: Prepare and generate financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, for management review.
- Budgeting: Assist in the preparation and monitoring of budgets, providing insights and analysis to support financial planning.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal financial regulations and tax requirements.
- Vendor Management: Manage relationships with vendors, including invoice processing, payment scheduling, and resolving discrepancies.
- Audit Support: Assist in the preparation for audits and provide necessary documentation and support to auditors.
- Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in financial operations.
- Support: Provide general administrative support to the finance team and other departments as needed.
Requirements:
- Education: a Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of bookkeeping experience, preferably in a CPG or related industry.
- QuickBooks Proficiency: Strong proficiency in QuickBooks is essential.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, and other relevant accounting software.
- Attention to Detail: Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in financial record keeping.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret financial data.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Organization: Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Integrity: High level of integrity and professionalism in handling confidential financial information.
- Team Player: Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
