Plaintiff-side employment law firm is searching for a Paralegal to join our team. This is a full-time in office position based in our office in El Segundo. The candidate should be fully bilingual / Spanish speaking and possess 2-5 years of paralegal experience.
Our litigation practice consists of wage and hour class actions, and individual employment law matters. Applicants should have some experience working in a law firm, and / or have a paralegal certificate. Class action experience is a plus.
The Paralegal will provide critical support to a team of attorneys, draft, file and serve legal documents for both state and federal court, calendar deadlines, schedule court appearances and court reporters for depositions and hearings, prepare hearing binders, maintain client and case files, and assist with various stages of case management.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, reliable, self-motivated, adaptable, committed to learning, and deadline and detail oriented. They should possess a positive attitude, commit to a high standard of ethical and professional conduct, and be able to operate well in a fast-paced environment.
