Assistant Manager
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Manager Lead Cashier to join our team. You will be responsible for overseeing the cash register operations and providing exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate will have excellent phone etiquette, strong sales skills, and the ability to effectively communicate with customers.
Responsibilities:
- Manage cash register operations, including opening and closing procedures
- Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently
- Provide exceptional customer service and address customer inquiries or concerns
- Train and supervise cashiers to ensure proper cash handling procedures
- Maintain a clean and organized checkout area
- Assist with inventory management and restocking merchandise as needed
- Collaborate with the management team to implement sales strategies and achieve sales targets
- Resolve customer complaints or issues in a professional and timely manner
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proven experience as a cashier or in a similar role
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Multilingual abilities are a plus
Must be able to meet base expectations such as being on time per your negotiated schedule.

- Be on time. Process sales transactions and monitor Tablets and equipment.
- Takes the guests order and handles cash and credit transaction.
- Calculate the cost of products or services.
- Accept payments in Cash and Card in person or over the phone when needed.
- Calculate and return change when required by the payment method
- Maintain adequate change denominations in the cash drawer and request additional change
- Answer customer questions about products or services and send them to leave review if they are satisfied at Google.
- Reconcile cash drawers and sales receipts.
- Report issues with equipment.
- Work as a team to meet store sales goals.
- Handle customer complains and offer up-sales to every customer.
- Process discounts, returns and exchanges.
- Maintain clean and tidy checkout area and follow the daily checklist and flowcharts.
- Assist in stocking and rotating merchandise.
- Scan and bag items accurately and efficiently.
- Stay up to date on merchandise promotions, advertisements and product information
