Currently recruiting for Uniform Event Supervisor for an event that is coming up that will run from July to October. This person will be responsible for communicating between the clients and their team. If you've done events before, this is the gig for you!
The Field Supervisor will:
- Be responsible for day to day management, motivation, coaching and training of site employees, specifically executing site-specific orientations including review of Post Orders, routine responsibilities, and how to respond to emergency situations or specific client’s needs.
- Make post inspections on a continuing basis and spend the quality time required to acknowledge and ensure adequate security officer performance, including inspection of officer’s appearance and review of the actual duties performed by personnel.
- Identify any personnel problems occurring at posts, such as payroll issues, employee relations complaints or other concerns, and forward any such issues to the HR or Ops department as appropriate.
- Be responsible for making recommendations for counseling and/or disciplinary action, including termination. May be responsible for administering counseling or disciplinary actions.
- Be responsible for maintaining positive client/security relationships through frequent tenant/client contact and support.
- Complete Daily Shift Activity Reports documenting all activity during your shift as well as any issues with employees or sites that need to be addressed by management.
- Document in writing any matters or issues regarding employee discipline and assist with developing an action or improvement plan.
- Conduct patrols at client sites throughout their shift.
**Field Supervisors may have to fill in a post on occasion to cover call outs or short staffing**
Initial Schedule - 8a-5p Mon-Fri
Event Schedule - TBD but would most likely be Thur-Sunday (10-12 hr shifts)
Qualifications and Requirements :
- Current Oregon (PSID) Unarmed Security card
- Supervisory Manager Credential DPSST (or willing to obtain this certification)
- Valid Driver's License & Clean Driving Record
- Ability to read, write, and speak English
- Ability to use a Smart Phone
- Professional attitude and appearance
- Good attendance record
- Reliable transportation
- Flexibility in scheduling
- Positive reflections from previous employers
Preferred:
Work history in the security industry, prior law enforcement, and/or military.
At least 2 years of supervisory experience.
Flexible with work schedule to meet security needs.
Personal cell phone/smart phone.
Motivated and confident in your character to support outstanding security appearance, professionalism, and public relations.
*You must have a current Oregon Security PSID card.

Pay: $26.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
