About the Role
Spiegelworld is looking for an experienced craft cocktail Bar Prep Specialist to join the team at our newest venture, Diner Ross, at the LINQ in Las Vegas. The Bar prep has a passion for mixology and advanced proficiency in kitchen techniques. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in culinary arts and/or mixology, with the ability to follow specific recipe directions while using culinary tools and techniques. This position requires meticulous attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment. This position reports directly to the Bar Manager.
Responsibilities
- Utilize culinary techniques to create cocktail syrups, infusions, juices and batches according to Spiegelworld's standards.
- Proficiency in the use and maintenance of specialized culinary tools and equipment with care and precision that includes but is not limited to: vacuum sealers, induction burners, hand blenders, mixers, juicers, scales, carbonation rigs, and refractometers.
- Understand the mathematical principles behind measurement of liquids and solids.
- Execute precise measurements and conversions of ingredients according to recipe specifications, ensuring accurate flavor profiles and consistency in cocktail preparation.
- Maintain a clean and organized bar prep area, following sanitation and safety protocols at all times.
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to coordinate ingredient sourcing, storage, and preparation, ensuring seamless integration of culinary and mixological elements in the beverage program.
- Communicate with the Bar Manager to ensure efficient operations and inventory management by monitoring stock levels of bar ingredients, notifying the Bar Manager of any shortages.
- Proactively identify opportunities for process improvements and operational efficiencies in bar prep procedures, contributing to the overall effectiveness and profitability of the beverage program.
- Maintaining professionalism in both appearance and behavior at all times.
- Adhering to health code requirements.

- Adhering to set schedules and attendance to mandatory staff meetings.
What You Bring
- Requires previous experience in either kitchen or craft cocktail environment
- Culinary degree preferred, but not a requirement.
- Beverage and cocktail knowledge.
- Awareness of all state laws pertaining to the sale and service of alcoholic beverages.
- Ability to perform all job functions.
- Effectively communicates verbally with staff, while reading, speaking and fully comprehending English.
- Hazards may include, but are not limited to, slips, falls and burns.
- Must be teamwork oriented and self-motivated.
- Be able to obtain and maintain any necessary licensing and work cards required present and future. Must maintain proper safety and sanitation standards.
- Must be flexible enough to work a variety of shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Able to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
- Candidates must have valid work authorization for the US
- Successful background check clearance prior to hire
- Must be at least 21 years of age.

- Work is performed in a high volume professional foodservice/ theater environment. Must be tolerant to varying conditions of noise level, temperature, illumination and air quality. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to high.
- Able to stand and walk for up to 8 hours and ability to climb statues between levels in venue
- Able to lift or carry up to 50lbs.
- Lifts and transports boxes and kegs up to 100 lbs. from the back of the house or/and basement to the front of house bars.
- Frequently reaches, lifts, stoops, bends and cleans to maintain service areas.
- Walks, stands and climbs stairs during the entire shift.
