The primary role of the QA Specialist is to assist the QA Manager in the entire operation of the Quality Assurance department for that shift and verify that the correct procedures and processes are followed while processing orders. This candidate will lead with professionalism while providing employees with the necessary training, planning, and monitoring of production workflow to consistently prioritize, assign tasks and meet deadlines. They also ensure that all paperwork and any other associated administrative tasks related to the production shift are completed accurately and efficiently.

1. Assist the QA Manager with the scheduling of the QA Technicians and Sanitation Members.
2. Maintain open lines of communication between employees.
3. Computer skills: Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook.
4. Responsible for assisting in the work of Sanitation lead, QA Technicians and Sanitation Members.
5. Supervise that the QA Technicians and Sanitation Members are working according to schedule.
6. Inform the QA Manager on all accident reports, work equipment reports, establishment damage reports, product reports, performance reports, work environment reports, and verification of the correct use of work equipment in the designated areas.
7. Lead meetings during the shift to improve the communication, effectiveness, and coordination of the team.
8. Ensure all resources and assets are used efficiently and accurately.
9. Oversee employee trainings and work schedules.
10. Keep track of the team attendance daily, identify non-conformance and work with the production manager and HR to make corrections as necessary.
11. Enforce Safety and Sanitation regulations.
12. Complying and enforce the company GMP policies to ensure food safety is one of the essential functions.

Work Environment
While performing the tasks of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to low temperatures ranging from 35 to 38 degrees Fahrenheit, fumes, or particles in the air, moving mechanical parts and vibrations in the establishment's infrastructure. The noise level in the work environment can be high.

2. 1 year of experience as a leader in production.
3. 1 year of experience with personnel in charge.
