We are a 24-hour residential treatment facility that specializes in addiction and dual-diagnosis. Statements of Purpose
The therapist fulfills direct service, including individual, couple/family and group psychotherapy, consultations, and crisis intervention.
Major Task, Duties and Responsibilities
- Knowledge of drug and alcohol dependency, mental health, family systems, and 12 step/recovery resources in the community.
- Maintain appropriate documentation as required.
- Conduct assessments of clients at the time of admission and re-assessments as required.
- Conduct mental status examinations.
- Provide appropriate diagnoses and treatment recommendations based on a review of the client’s history, signs, and symptoms.
- Provide individual, couple/family, and group psychotherapy as needed.
- Ability to demonstrate respect for the cultural and lifestyle diversities of clients and staff.
- Crises intervention services, including 5150 determinations.
- Treatment Planning.
- Group Facilitation.
- Individual Therapy
- Trauma-informed therapy
- Participation in Case Conference Reviews/Treatment Team Meetings.
- Provide Utilizations Reviews as required.
- Knowledge of current legal standards pertaining to professional practice, reporting requirements, professional boundaries, and related issues.
- Provide in-service training to staff and/or trainee on mental health topics as needed.
- Knowledge of the philosophy and approach of the 12-step model of recovery (AA, CA, NA, Alanon).
- Knowledge of KIPU EMR a plus
Minimum Qualification:
Master's Degree, Registered or Licensed with the BBS, required.
1 year behavioral health or treatment center, preferred.
Must be able to pass live scan background check

Compensation: depends on credentials, years of experience, training, and education.

Pay: $85,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
