Foundation Risk Partners, one of the fastest growing insurance brokerage and consulting firms in the US, is adding an Accounts Receivable Specialist to their Corporate Synergies team in Camden, NJ Metro Region.
Job Summary:
We are looking for a specialist to handle our accounts receivable functions including posting of client receipts, collection of fees for service accounts and other ancillary accounting functions.
Essential Functions:
- Responsible for bank reconciliations and clearing of outstanding items.
- Proper posting of client receipts to appropriate invoices.
- Management of the cash receipt function.
- Analyze and reconcile client and or GL accounts when necessary.
- Coordination with the General Ledger and Direct Bill teams in regard to cash receipts.
- Responsible for timely resolution of all invoice discrepancies.
- Prepare and distribute customer billing to clients
- Prepare accounts receivable aging reports and make collection calls
Competencies & Qualifications:
- Working knowledge of Excel and other MS Office applications. Ability to take Excel spreadsheet to the next level to build unique spreadsheets and apply macros.
- Knowledge of or proven ability to learn new systems.
- Knowledge of Applied Epic a plus.
- Prior collections experience desirable
- Excellent organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills
Education & Experience:
- BS/BA in Accounting or equivalent work experience
- At least two years of experience working in AP/AR department
