Our housekeepers play an important role in our community’s occupancy and resident retention success by ensuring all common areas and apartment homes are clean, sanitary, and prepared for new occupancy. Our housekeeping team members also assist with the preparation for Resident and prospective resident events, interact with our residents, and work to create a lasting impression of our community.

Essential Duties: (Other duties may be assigned)
· Reporting any safety hazards or repair needs observed while performing daily duties.
· Replace lightbulbs as needed.
· Remove trash and litter throughout buildings and common areas including exterior grounds where necessary.
· Monitor dumpster areas for adequate trash removal procedures, offering suggested improvements where necessary.
· Monitor temperature conditions in vacant units, and common areas.
· Clean, organize, sanitize Leasing and/or Resident Service offices, clubhouses, stairwells, parking garages and all shared amenity spaces.
· Assist with weed removal, light snow removal, sanding / salting where necessary.
· Maintain cleaning and building supplies, and MSDS information for all products used.
· Dust, mop, vacuum, sweep and empty receptacles frequently.
· Ensure units are clean and sanitary for new occupancy by sanitizing and cleaning tubs/showers, walls, sinks, vanities, appliances, toilets, and cabinets – inside and out.
· Deliver or remove notices, flyers, or residential correspondence where necessary.
· Provide a positive interaction experience with residents at every interaction.

Skills & Qualifications:
· High school diploma/GED, required
· 1 year of prior professional cleaning experience: Preferred
· Must have dependable transportation to and from assigned work locations.
· Understanding of vacancy procedure, preferred
