POSITION SUMMARY
The F&B Manager is responsible for ensuring that members and their guests have a pleasant and memorable dining experience. Responsible for assisting with daily food and beverage operation, the F&B Manager monitors setup, maintenance, cleanliness, and safety of dining areas. As part of assisting with daily operations, the F&B Manager is responsible for training and monitoring the Service Staff to the standards of excellence that are held at Hillwood Country Club. As a F&B Manager, the individual will be responsible for acting as Manager on Duty (MOD) for lunch service, dinner service, and member events when applicable.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ensures the correct and timely set-up of all Banquet Event Order functions.

Sets-up and breaks-down tables, chairs, audio-visual (AV) equipment and platform/stages and other equipment as specified by client or group requirements. Arrange table linens, skirting and tabletop items and clean, store and secure all tables, chairs and AV equipment, and platforms/stages for banquet functions.

Maintains the highest standards of cleanliness and sanitation throughout the banquet function space, pre function space and storage areas to include the carpet, walls, walks, doors, windows, and heating/air conditioning units.

Maintains the banquet storeroom in a neat and organized manner stocked with all appropriate supplies necessary for meetings and/or food service functions.

Breaks down after the completion of functions and ensures that all equipment and supplies are stored properly.

Provides immediate attention to all members and guests as needed.

Assists in taking beverage orders and serves food where needed.

Helps to pour and refill wine, coffee, water, and other beverages served with and after the meal.

Helps clear soiled dishes as needed.

Assists Banquet Manager, Banquet Bar Captain, and other employees in assuring that the club's policies and procedures for serving alcoholic beverages are consistently followed.

Trains and helps evaluate banquet staff.

May serve as the Club's opening or closing manager or manager on duty.

Greets members and guests.

Coordinates food service between kitchen and banquet service staff.

Inspects all linens daily for proper appearance.

Helps to resolve member and guest complaints.

Ensures that all safety, accident, and emergency policies and procedures are in place and consistently followed.

Inspects dining room to ensure proper maintenance, cleanliness, and safety.

Assist management in daily operation of the Food & Beverage Service.

Working closely with Food & Beverage Managers to coordinate food service between kitchen and dining staff and coordinate operating procedures for all staff pertaining to food service being offered.

Must be able to assign, monitor, and complete all opening and closing procedures for all service staff.

Monitor and enforce Hillwood Country Club rules, policies and procedures for members, guests, and staff.

Able to work at a rapid pace while maintaining attention to detail, and the ability to multi-task.

- Assures that pre-opening cleaning tasks are assigned and completed as required.

Monitor’s dining reservations.

Assists in monthly beverage inventory.

Assists with table clearing and resetting as needed.

Suggests when additional service supplies and small equipment are needed.

Assists in dining room inventory assessments.

Performs other duties as directed by Management.

Adheres to all policies and procedures, memos, and oral instructions.

Maintains Food Safety Certification.

Maintains Alcoholic Beverage Certification.
