Missouri Alliance for Children and Families provides care management and many other vital services to children with severe mental and behavioral health care needs. We seek to heal the hurt for children and families who have experienced abuse and neglect. Responsibilities include maintaining responsibility for all children and families within their team. Maintain focus on overall treatment of children and families, behavioral management interventions, and moving children to and maintaining them in a family home. Attend Family Support Team meetings, TDM’s, and Court Hearings with all assigned Care Managers as needed. Monitor outcomes and conduct utilization review. Responsible for maintaining specified average costs of care for all assigned clients. Advocate for the rights and needs of the youth and their families and for the least restrictive community-based services (in the community of the family). Ensure that staff are supporting connections through the use of family search and engagement techniques. Conduct case staffing with care managers at least once per month with a specific focus on involvement of natural supports, safety of the child and family and progression towards the goals established. Utilize Signs of Safety practice model in supervision and to serve children and families. Responsible for ensuring all policies, procedures, protocols, Plan of Care development and implementation, paper work, data entry and practices allow for the smooth and seamless delivery of services to children and their families. Provide direct supervision and evaluation of the assigned Senior Care Managers, when applicable, and Care Managers. Ensures compliance with all Missouri Alliance policies and procedures within contractual requirements. Make decisions in personnel issues related to assigned Care Management Teams, including hiring, evaluation and supervision. Provide the Care Management and Senior Care Management Team professional development opportunities. Represent Missouri Alliance to the professional and social community.
Qualifications: A Master's degree in social work, psychology, juvenile justice, guidance and counseling or other comparable human service field plus 3 years of experience with children and families; Knowledge of the Missouri child and family services systems; must be willing to travel.
