Veterinary Technician/Veterinary Assistant
The responsibilities of this job include but are not limited to: Friendly demeanor with clients, positive attitude and a team player. Taking a good history from clients, able to restrain animals (cats and dogs), obtaining vitals, venipuncture, nail trims, able to prepare and read cytology (ear and urine) vaccinating animals, running laboratory tests. Familiar with Cornerstone software and Idexx blood machines is a plus. Preparing animals for surgery, IV catheter placement, intubate, monitor anesthesia, take radiographs. Making treatment sheets for hospitalized patients. Attention to deals a must. Patient care is extremely important. Answering the phone as needed.
Previous veterinary experience preferred but not required. Include references.
