Residential Construction Processor & Bookkeeper

We pride ourselves on our professional and collaborative work environment, and we are currently seeking a part time detail-oriented and experienced professional for our Residential Construction Processor & Bookkeeper to join our team.
We are looking for a meticulous and organized Residential Construction Processor & Bookkeeper to manage transactions and support our accounting processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in bookkeeping, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to work independently.
New Project Account Set Up:
- Set up and maintain new project accounts.
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of all project-related financial information.
Accounts Payable with Purchase Orders (POs):
- Process vendor invoices and match them with purchase orders.
- Verify accuracy of vendor invoices and resolve any discrepancies.
- Ensure timely payment of vendor invoices.
Accounts Receivable:
- Generate and send out invoices to clients.
- Process incoming payments and reconcile accounts.
- Monitor accounts to ensure timely collection of outstanding invoices.
Permit Processing for Projects:
- Handle the submission and tracking of permits for various projects.
- Ensure all required permits are obtained and maintained in an organized manner.
- Communicate with project managers and regulatory bodies as needed to ensure compliance.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a bookkeeper or in a similar role.
- Proficient in accounting software QuickBooks
- Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting principles.
- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Experience in processing permits and working with regulatory bodies is a plus.
Education/Hours:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional qualifications in accounting or business administration are a plus.
- Part-time, approximately 30 hours per week on M-F.
- Flexible schedule.
