We are seeking an experienced, entrepreneurial, and tech-savvy speech-language pathologist licensed in state to join our team at Hona as a Speech Language Pathologist. In this unique role, you will have the opportunity to shape the future of our company while providing high-quality speech therapy services to our clients. Our goal is to help you build a caseload during this contract period, allowing you to maintain your clients and insurance credentials after the contract ends. This opportunity is designed to support you in launching your own private practice in the future.
Responsibilities
- Conduct speech therapy evaluations and treatment sessions for our initial clients, demonstrating clinical excellence and a strong commitment to patient outcomes.
- Collaborate with our team of AI engineers from Facebook, Google, Northwestern, UChicago, and Stanford to develop a cutting-edge, AI-powered EHR system and a set of assessments tailored for speech-language pathology
- Provide insights and recommendations for our SLP recruitment and patient acquisition strategies
- Offer guidance on best practices for remote and in-person speech therapy services, ensuring a seamless experience for both clients and therapists
- Contribute to the development of training materials and resources for future SLPs joining our platform
- Thrive in a fast-paced, ambiguous startup environment and adapt quickly to changing priorities and challenges
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited university
- ASHA certification and active state licensure in good standing
- Minimum of 1 years of post-graduate experience in a variety of clinical settings (e.g., pediatric, adult, teletherapy)
- Strong clinical skills across a range of communication disorders and age groups
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving abilities
- Passion for innovation, technology, and a desire to shape the future of speech therapy service delivery
- Entrepreneurial mindset and interest in the business aspects of private practice (preferred)
