Veterinary Technician

*Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Veterinary Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for animal health, a high level of professionalism, and excellent interpersonal skills. This position requires a detail-oriented individual who can efficiently work under pressure and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced veterinary setting.
Responsibilities For Veterinary Technician:
- Assist veterinarians in the examination and treatment of animals, including preparing animals and instruments for surgery.
- Perform laboratory tests, such as blood work, urinalysis, and fecal exams, to help in the diagnosis and treatment of animal health issues.
- Administer medications, vaccines, and treatments as prescribed by a veterinarian.
- Take and process X-rays.
- Provide nursing care and emergency first aid to animals as needed.
- Educate and advise pet owners on the general care, medical conditions, and treatments of pets.
- Maintain accurate patient records and billing information.
- Ensure that the clinical environment is clean and well-maintained.
Qualifications:
- Associate's degree in Veterinary Technology or a related field.
- Certification as a Veterinary Technician (required by some states).
- Proven experience as a Veterinary Technician.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to handle and restrain animals safely.
- Detail-oriented with excellent multitasking skills.

The bonus offered would be $2000 (more possible based on experience) - for FT) paid over the first year.
