Duties:
- Perform dental examinations, diagnoses, and treatment planning for patients of all ages
- Provide comprehensive dental care including restorative, preventive, and cosmetic procedures
- Administer local anesthesia and perform dental procedures such as fillings, extractions, root canals, and crowns
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and provide personalized oral health instructions
- Collaborate with a team of dental professionals to ensure optimal patient care
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records using dental practice management systems (Dentrix)
- Stay current with advancements in dentistry through continuing education and professional development
Qualifications:
- Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from an accredited dental school
- Valid state dental license in good standing
- Experience working with pediatric patients is a plus
- Proficiency in using Dentrix
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively
