Address customer questions and/or concerns regarding FOD services; maintain equipment histories; review plans and specifications for building renovation, repair, and construction projects; routinely work on Preventative Maintenance program, to include Asset review, preventative, corrective, predictive items with in the CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System); monitors contractor compliance with plans and specifications; coordinate training; resolve issues; monitor equipment maintenance; collaborate with operations groups to address questions, concerns about equipment design, planning, installation, and operation to ensure maximum equipment and building availability; may represent FOD in operation, planning, and design meetings to ensure operational concerns are addressed; review plans and specifications for renovation and construction projects to identify issues of access, maintainability and standardization for operations groups; participate in commissioning, and review of building design standards as necessary; attend and participate in design and construction review meetings when required or directed to ensure operations needs are met; manages contract compliance, reports and coordination of services with other trades managers in support of the campus departments to ensure all campus building fire protection systems, sprinklers, fire doors, etc. ITM (Inspect, Test &Maintenance) are performed with high-quality, are cost effective, and meet Ohio Fire Code, NFPA as required, &Local AHJ requirements. Hours are 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, but is subject to changes in shift, hours, days, and/or location as operations dictate; will require successful completion of a criminal background check and a department of motor vehicles check. REQUIRED: Bachelor's Degree in engineering or related technical field or equivalent (i.e. 5 or more years applicable experience, journeyperson certification in applicable trade, etc.); valid Driver's License; knowledge of mechanical and or electrical equipment and systems, building standards, building systems maintenance, heat transfer, fluid dynamics, thermodynamics, lubrication techniques & materials, measurement equipment and related recording systems; ability to understand and interpret technical instructions and plan reading. DESIRED: Technical training in building systems operations and building system controls.
The Targeted Hiring Range for this position is $64,300.00 - $84,550.00
