MAIN PURPOSE
Lead Parts Operations: Ensure efficient handling of parts ordering through SAP, business relationship with suppliers, cost reduction, and parts inventory.
Implement Strategic Practices: Enhance parts inventory to reduce downtime and contribute to seamless machine and facility operations.
Position is responsible for adhering to all company safety and health policies and procedures.
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Lead and manage part inventory for all machines and facility needs.
- Manage ordering parts with inbound accuracy.
- Support and manage outside contractors as needed.
- Manage targeted portions of the company’s CMMS program related to parts and PMs.
- Ensure parts are being recorded with in work orders.
- Conduct cycle count audits to ensure parts are in stock and in assigned locations.
KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
High School diploma/GED
Minimum of 3+ years parts clerk experience in relevant environment.
- Proven experience as a Parts Clerk in a manufacturing environment (preferred)
- ERP background. SAP (preferred)
- CMMS platform experience
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
- Knowledge of inventory processes to assist with picking, packing, shipping, and receiving parts.
- Advanced computer skills to include experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
- Excellent attention to detail, decision-making, problem-solving, organizational and time management skills
- Power Industrial Truck experience preferred.
- Must be able to repeatedly pull, push, and carry heavy loads and lift up to 50lbs.
- Must be able to work on feet for at least 8 hours.
- Any other tasks as requested by Leadership.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
