Licensed Psychologists
Manhattan Psychiatric Center (MPC) is currently recruiting Licensed Psychologists to join their team and provide evidence-based, patient-centered, and culturally sensitive care to adults with serious mental illness. Licensed Psychologists work as a part of a multi-disciplinary treatment team and have the opportunity to work with individuals on all inpatient units– admissions, geriatric, Individuals with Limited English Proficiency (LEP), Transition to Home/housing-insecure. MPC is committed to supporting underserved individuals, organizations, and communities along with activities and initiatives to reduce disparities in access, quality, and treatment outcomes for underserved populations.
MPC Licensed Psychologists will:
- Provide professional psychological services to individuals on inpatient units including a forensic unit
- Participate in MPC’s Training Committee as educators/mentors in APA accredited internship program in health service psychology
- Develop and implement treatment plans
- Provide individual and group psychotherapy
- Perform psychological evaluations including forensic or court-ordered assessments
- Complete and evaluate behavior assessments
- Maintain records and write reports
- Provide clinical leadership
- Provide program management
Job Requirements
- Possession of a license and current registration to practice psychology in New York State.
