**MUST BE A CERTIFIED OR REGISTERED MEDICAL ASSISTANT
Responsibilities:
- Follow up on laboratory values and procedures and inputting clinical information into our electronic medical record
- Perform clinical duties within HIPAA regulations
- Ensure that stock and clinical inventory are adequate and orders are placed on time
- Order vaccines and keep inventory up to date
- Communicate medical results to patients under clinical supervision
- Sterilize instruments in accordance with OSHA requirements
- Complete timely and accurate documentation of patient visits.
- Handle all administrative duties in a timely manner
- Perform routine clinical tasks to support medical staff
- Escort patients to exam rooms and triage
Requirements:
- 2 years of experience at a healthcare facility in a clinical coordinator role (essential)
- Venipuncture and immunization experience is a MUST
- Working knowledge of medical terminology, HIPAA regulations, ICD, and CPT coding (highly advantageous)
- Meticulous attention to detail with the ability to multitask
- Strong organizational, administrative, and planning skills
- Ability to work under pressure and react effectively to emergency situations.
- Excellent documentation, communication, and IT skills.
- Passionate about clinical excellence.
