Position Summary
The Human Resources Assistant is responsible for assisting Profound Treatment’s Human Resources Department in matters related to recruitment, hiring, onboarding of all employees, performance, worker’s compensation, employee benefits, training, and development.
Responsibilities
· Assist with recruitment processes including job postings, resume screening, and coordinating interviews.
· Assist with the benefits enrollment, tracking and reporting, as well as the agency’s annual open enrollment process and related communication materials.
· Assist with timely staff orientation and education regarding human resources and employee relations.
· Assist with ensuring employee information, records, and documentation are accurate, complete, and up to date, while maintaining compliance with state and Joint Commission standards
· Collaborates with all department directors to ensure performance evaluations are conducted in a timely manner.
· Must maintain confidentiality pertaining to management and business information that is not available to specific employees or individuals and entities outside of the company, including, but not limited to maintaining and securing HRIS platform, sensitive employee information, and proprietary data.
· Handle correspondence, document filing, and data entry.
· Manage office supplies inventory and place orders as needed.
· Ensure the office environment is clean, organized, and well-maintained.
· Serve as the first point of contact for office visitors.
· Coordinate office events, meetings, and employee engagement activities.
· Provide general administrative support to the team as required.
· Perform other duties as assigned.
· Ensure compliance with HIPAA, 42CFR regulations.
Qualifications
· High school diploma or equivalent
· Proven experience as an HR assistant or in a similar role.
· Proven experience in recruiting and screening of candidates as well as the use of an applicant tracking system and/or additional recruiting platforms.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
· Familiarity with HR software and tools (e.g., HRIS systems) is a plus.
· Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
· Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
· Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
· Detail-oriented and problem-solving attitude.
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
· Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, and possess good presentation skills.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $21.00 - $24.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
