POSITION SUMMARY:
Responsible for ensuring that all warehouse functions are completed accurately and on time. Keeps records on incoming shipment and materials brought to and from the production area. Responsible for insuring that production has the materials needed to operate and receiving finished goods into inventory in a manner that meets Kingfa standards for safety, security, and productivity. Responsible for the completeness and correctness of all orders filled.
RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES:
- Ensures the accuracy of all receiving documents and gathers and maintains all data and records relative to receiving activities.
- Collects all documentation for inbound freight and ensures all documents including receiving paperwork are filed appropriately.
- Ensure proper labels and paperwork have been applied before materials are moved.
- Assists in maintaining the safety of the warehouse.
- 1. Place incoming merchandise into inventory.
- 2. Conduct physical inventories as required.
- Performs additional duties as directed. Complete any other duties as assigned by management.
JOB SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS:
- Strong and accurate computer entry skills, with experience of Microsoft Office.
- Experience with logistics scheduling
- Previous warehouse experience of 2+ years.
- Must be able to operate a forklift safely.
- Extreme attention to detail.
- Must be able to work in fast-paced environment, under time constraints and still meet deadlines.
- Must work well with others.
- Great attention to detail; documentation MUST always be accurate and complete.
- Ability to lift 30-50 pounds multiple times per day.
- Ability to work with minimal direction in an independent, proactive, and self-directed manner. Will need to be appropriately assertive when necessary and able to handle several tasks at once in a timely fashion.
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
High School Diploma/GED required
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Physical requirements include but are not limited to standing, sitting, bending, stooping, walking, light lifting, climbing stairs, manual dexterity, direct exposure to heat and safety hazards associated with production environment, and computer operation.
