Career Opening: Owner's Representative Fit-Out PM
Responsibilities:
- Serving as the Owner's eyes and ears on the job site, overseeing and reporting on all construction activities.
- Ensuring that the project is completed in accordance with plans and specifications, on time and within budget.
- Providing daily oversight of safety protocols and procedures, conducting regular safety inspections, and identifying and mitigating potential hazards.
- Implementing a comprehensive Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC) program, ensuring the General Contractor (GC) adheres to project specifications and industry standards.
- Coordinating with the project team, including the GC, subcontractors, and engineers.
- Tracking project progress, identifying and resolving issues, and implementing corrective actions.
- Managing submittals, requests for information (RFIs), and the procurement log.
- Attending Owner Advisory Committee (OAC) meetings and preparing reports.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- 3+ years of experience in construction field management, with a strong track record in overseeing tenant fit-outs in data centers.
- Experience working in fast-paced data center fit-out environments, ensuring projects are completed correctly and efficiently.
- Understanding of specific data center fit-out considerations, such as busway/RPPs, hot aisle containment, and conveyance systems.
- Excellent communication, coordination, and interpersonal skills.
- Proactive and problem-solving mentality.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Detail-oriented and quality-focused, with a keen eye for fit-out execution.
- Experience with construction software is a plus.
