Position: Pediatric Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) Registered Nurse (RN)
Experience Required:

Must have 2-3 years of experience in pediatric post-anesthesia care and pre-testing.
Work Schedule:
- Four 10-hour shifts, Monday through Friday, with a varying day off.
- No weekends, no holidays.
- Shifts are variable.
- No on-call duties.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality care to pediatric patients in the post-anesthesia care unit.
- Monitor patients' recovery from anesthesia and surgery.
- Conduct pre-testing assessments to ensure patient readiness for surgery.
- Collaborate with anesthesiologists, surgeons, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement care plans.
- Educate patients and their families on post-operative care and recovery.
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and safety standards.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Valid RN license in Washington, D.C.
- 2-3 years of experience in pediatric post-anesthesia care and pre-testing.
- Strong clinical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
