The hours for this position is Monday-Friday in person. Full Time. 35 Hours a week. Position will report to the QSAC Corporate Office in Manhattan.
Salary Range for this position is $50,000-$55,000.
Job Description - The Education Billing Coordinator is responsible for billing for all center-based education programs such as Preschool 4410 programs, School Age 853 programs as well as SEIT/SETSS/Early Intervention and CPSE/Preschool Evaluation Programs. The position also bills for some OPWDD Non-Medicaid Service programs and food programs such as CACFP.
Recruiting Responsibilities:
- Complete required QSAC orientation.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local laws, regulations and policies, as well as QSAC-specific policies and procedures.
- Enter billing into NYCDOE CMR/CMI (Education), NYEIS (Early Intervention) and to Nassau County districts.
- Generate billing for students in QSAC’s Education, Early Intervention, and some OPWDD programs.
- CACFP billing and training agency-wide.
- Review payment statements for all programs billed to ensure receivables are based on billing.
- Access, track, and troubleshoot pending and/or denied billing and report to supervisor as needed.
- Create fiscal and tracking reports as required.
- Produce year-end audit reports with supervisors for: Reconciliation, FTEs, 611/619, and Teacher Certification Funds, and other education grants.
- Billing and tracking of receivables for OPWDD ISS, Broker Service programs and ACCES-VR.
- Review and approval of EI, SEIT, and SETSS payroll.
- Track ISS start-up spending and assemble necessary documents for submission.
- Generate/maintain comprehensive systems of information tracking for various programs.
- Review/maintain service documentation, including student attendance, to ensure accuracy and support billing.
- Maintain communication with program staff to ensure documentation compliance.
- Communicate with funding sources to resolve payment issues as needed.
- Update billing Policy & Procedures for Education as needed.
- Maintain communication with Districts and other providers as well as other QSAC departments as needed.
- Purchase materials for program sites on CEO credit card and reconcile credit card.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Clearance through state mandated Background/Fingerprint Check(s).
- Administrative experience and strong organizational skills.
- Experience with NYCDOE and/or Early Intervention preferred.
- Bachelor’s Degree and/or substantial related experience.
- Must be able to work under stringent timeframes, meet deadlines, and have good time-management skills.
- Organized, detail oriented, and excellent follow up skills.
- Proficient in Excel.
- Ability to communicate effectively and work well with others.
