Education: High School Diploma and certification in operating picker rider trucks & forklifts is an advantage
Experience: 1 -3 year.
Scope:
A Packer, or Picker Packer, is a warehouse employee responsible for fulfilling orders by arranging inventory onto pallets and preparing them for shipment. Their duties include interpreting order documents to select which items on the order need to be sent out, performing quality control assessments and stacking items safely and securely onto the pallet and bringing the order to the shipping doc to be prepared for shipment.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provided pick release work orders to pick and pack UBP finished products for shipment.
- Drive rider trucks to build orders on pallets, forklifts to transfer materials between unloading, processing, loading, and storage areas.
- Weighing products or materials and recording weight and further production information on labels and tags.
- Wrapping material loads with a wrapper.
- Keep up the housekeeping and making clean the warehouse premises.
- Weighing packages and labeling them appropriately
- Inspecting packages to ensure they are not damaged
- Inspecting shipping containers to ensure they meet shipping regulations
- Assembling daily orders by shipping location or any other shipping categories
- Collecting records of packages including delivery notes, invoices, etc and giving them to the Shipping manager.
- Apply packing slips to orders staged for shipment.
- Cleaning shipping containers and other shipping supplies/areas.
- Organizing and securing stored materials such as super sacks, boxes, pallets, and so on.
- Reporting to supervisor regarding any damage to racks, faulty equipment, or any other safety hazards.
- Performing other duties as allotted by a manager or supervisor. Cycle counts, product put aways from production, back up in receiving etc.

- Excellent teamwork skills.
- Ability to read labels and numbers.
- Ability to operate in high speed and fast-paced environment.
- Solid math skills. Ability to add, subtract, and multiply.
- Demonstrated abilities in effective communication across all channels of the organization.
- Good physical health.
- Able to follow instructions as directed by the supervisor.
- Ability to stand for a long time.
- High Level of Energy and excellent follow-up skills

- Be able to lift more than 50 lbs.
- Be able to work in a cold and hot environment
- Rider & Forklift Certified (a plus)
