Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Licensed Clinician to join our team. As a therapist, you will play a pivotal role in providing therapeutic interventions, assessments, and support to individuals battling substance use disorders and/or mental health diagnoses. Key Responsibilities:
- Individual Counseling: Conduct one-on-one counseling sessions with clients to assess their needs, develop treatment plans, and provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions.
- Group Therapy: Facilitate group sessions, offering a safe and supportive environment for clients to share their experiences and learn from one another.
- Supervision: Two years post-licensure with ability to supervise
- Assessment and Diagnosis: Conduct comprehensive assessments to determine the severity of substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health conditions.
- Treatment Planning: Collaborate with clients to develop individualized treatment plans that address their unique needs and goals for recovery.
- Crisis Intervention: Provide crisis intervention and support to clients in moments of acute distress.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records in compliance with all relevant regulations and facility policies.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the interdisciplinary treatment team, including medical professionals, counselors, and case managers, to ensure coordinated and holistic care.
Qualifications:
- LMFT, LPCC, LCSW or equivalent
- Exposure and understanding of substance use field
- Knowledge of evidence-based therapeutic modalities and interventions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Empathetic, non-judgmental, and compassionate approach to client care.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $85,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
