Job Overview:
We are looking for a dependable and motivated warehouse associate to perform an array of duties such as receiving and processing incoming stock and materials, picking and filling orders from stock, packing and shipping orders, counting, managing, organizing and retrieving stock and other assigned duties. Under guidance, this role will be responsible for maintaining a safe, clean, and organized warehouse. This is a part-time position at 30 hours a week
Duties:
· Move inventory and materials throughout the store/warehouse
· Handle delicate and sensitive products with utmost care
Process inventory for deliveries/pickups
· Sort, organize, and store inventory in proper location
Package items and label correctly

· Report damaged or missing inventory to supervisors
Stack and organize large bulk items
· Handle and operate necessary tools and accessories in maintaining and managing a warehouse

· Remove inventory from trucks for shipping and/or delivery
· Move materials from storage to pick-up area or other locations
· Ensure workspace is free of debris and remove safety hazards
· Ensure store, bathrooms, and storage areas are clean at all times
· Keep warehouse premises neat and clean
· Work as an active team member to complete team goals
Close pickups in a timely fashion
· Update logs and documentation for inventory processing
· Assist in organizing and maintaining up to date records of inventory
· Prepare documentation and inventory for audits
· Integrate best practices in handling warehouse materials
· Help in the field as needed
· Other duties as assigned
Skills:
- Experience in stocking, cycle counting, and general warehouse operations
- Proficiency in warehouse management practices
- Ability to operate pallet jack and forklift safely and efficiently
- Knowledge of inventory management techniques
- Understanding of shipping and receiving procedures
Job Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Able to pass drug test/background check
- Physically able to stand, sit, move, squat, walk, and climb during the course of the shift
- Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs or more
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Able to work independently
- High attention to detail and monitors quality/quantity of inventory
- Highly organized and able to store items efficiently

Requirements:

- Certification in operating forklifts is a plus
