Under the direction of the Staff Services Manager I (SSM I), the incumbent performs the more responsible, varied, and complex technical analytical assignments related to disaster assistance programs, including cost recovery and management work. Specifically, the incumbent may serve as the lead person, team leader, and/or project coordinator for disaster recovery projects; such as facilitating reimbursements from the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) Public Assistance (PA) Disaster Grant, Fire Management Assistance Grant (FMAG), Emergency Management Assistance Compact (EMAC), disaster response cost tracking and reporting, supporting the Finance/Administration Section of Emergency Operations for disasters and State Emergency Repatriation Activations, and other disaster and non-disaster grant programs.
This position requires a high level of knowledge and experience in disaster program laws, regulations, and policies.
Will consider qualified Associate Governmental Program Analyst and Staff Services Analyst.

This work location is very convenient! The CDSS is located two blocks from the light rail and public transportation: within walking distance to the State Capitol, parks, restaurants, farmer’s markets and the Golden 1 Arena. Our building has easy access to I-5, Highway 50, and Highway 80.
