We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Service Manager to oversee our Service Technicians. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in customer service, pest control, fleet management, inventory control, recruiting, hiring, training and routing.

Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service and address customer inquiries and concerns
- Prepares staffing and vehicle projections based on growth trends and projections
- Effectively oversee routing and route development to maximize productivity and efficiencies
- Demonstrates the ability to answer questions, research problems, resolve issues and make decisions that ensure the company and/or customer’s expectations are met
- Performs regular audits & tasks to insure EnviroSMART systems are always followed including but not limited to control sheet audits, truck inspections, tech ride alongs, inventory control, weekly training, vehicle safety tracking etc.
- Creates a positive work environment.
- Oversee and utilize all resources for recruiting and hiring high caliber team members
- Oversee efforts to retain quality team members and provide opportunities for long term team members to expand their skill set through the Lead Tech program
- Oversee management and maintenance of company vehicles and equipment
- Oversee planning and execution of effective and meaningful weekly team meetings
- Maintains appropriate certification/licensing as required by the state and/or by senior management
- Responsible for addressing errors and complaints with team members and ensures service team provides exceptional solutions to customer problems.
- Assists subordinates in the performance of duties and steps in to perform duties when necessary
- Oversee and track technician licensing as well as required annual training
- Oversee and track new hire training and development
- Oversee and track PTO for team members
- Oversee and track employee referral bonuses
Qualifications
- 3-5 years’ experience recruiting, hiring, supervising, coaching and developing staff, fleet management, and inventory control preferred but not required
- Previous pest control experience is a plus, but if you haven’t worked in the pest control industry, we will train
- Must have a good driving record with no more than 2 moving violations or 1 moving violation and 1 at fault accident in the last 3 years. No DUI/DWI in the last 5 years. Must pass a pre-employment drug screen as well as a criminal background check.
Physical Requirements
- Lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
- Safely access crawl spaces, attics, confined spaces, roof tops, etc.
- Ability to work in all types of weather conditions
- Ability to walk long periods of time and climb stairs on a regular basis
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $45,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
