A. FUNCTION
Nile Sisters Development Initiative (NSDI), a California 501(c)(3) non-profit organization is seeking a part-time Licensed Clinical Social Worker. Reporting to the Director of Programs, the Licensed Clinical Social Worker will have the responsibility of providing case management and direct services including individual (including youth), couple, family, and group therapeutic services to patients, including assessments, treatment plans, and discharge planning. The incumbent will also facilitate emotional support workshops, crisis intervention (in-person, including safety planning), support groups (facilitated or peer), other therapy (traditional, cultural, or alternative healing; art, writing, or play therapy, etc.)
B. DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES (Below functions are not exhaustive and may be altered by Leadership to the extent it aligns with the position.) Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

Adhere to and uphold the organizational mission.

Responsible for planning and implementing interactive professional in-person and virtual workshops and providing culturally proficient services and case management.
- Responsible for conducting behavioral health assessments to determine mental health and social service needs of program participants.
- Responsible for addressing referrals from providers including referrals via warm hand-offs and coordinating services.

Responsible for adherence to program compliance and accountable for program deliverables.

Responsible for assessing the holistic and programmatic needs of patients in the program and coordinating case management.

Work in collaboration with multidisciplinary team members including external partners

Assist with the development of program materials, forms, tracking measures, and other informational resources.

Accurately create and maintain electronic files and record data in state and internal databases.

Responsible for practicing excellence in customer service and providing culturally proficient and responsive services to diverse stakeholders.

Responsible for maintaining accurate and complete records of important documents and data, including biopsychosocial assessments treatment planning, and implementation in a timely manner.

Responsible for conducting presentations to promote programs to various outlets including internal and external stakeholders.

Perform other duties as assigned by the Program Manager.
C. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS OF QUALIFIED CANDIDATES

Master's degree from an accredited U.S. college or university, or a certified foreign studies equivalency in social work, psychology, counseling or a related field, AND, at least one (1) year of full-time post-master's degree, professional experience in a public or private agency providing case management services and direct services to individuals including youth, couples, family, and group therapeutic services.

Current license (Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)) and National Provider Identification Number (NPI) at time of employment required. The incumbent is required to maintain licensure and the NPI throughout employment.

Possess or be willing to complete HIPAA training, within one month of employment.

Ability to collect and interpret qualitative data and prepare reports.

Effective oral and written communication skills.

Must be a motivated self-starter able to work effectively with limited supervision.

Adhere to confidentiality mandates and professional conduct.
D. WORKING CONDITIONS, JOB SETTING, and COMPENSATION

Part-time – 20 hours/week

Flexible work environment, work will be performed in NSDI headquarters, in an office setting and requires the use of electronic equipment including computer, telephone, etc

Flexibility in schedule, including scheduled weekends, when necessary
