We are currently seeking dedicated Expo/Food Runners to join our dynamic kitchen team.
Job Summary:
The Expo/Food Runner is a vital link between the kitchen and the dining area, responsible for ensuring that food is delivered to guests promptly and accurately. This role requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and a passion for providing exceptional service.
Key Responsibilities:
Order Coordination: Manage the flow of orders from the kitchen to the dining area, ensuring all dishes are delivered in a timely manner.
Food Presentation: Inspect dishes for accuracy, presentation, and temperature before delivery to guests. Ensure all components of an order are complete.
Delivery: Quickly and efficiently deliver food orders to the correct tables, ensuring a smooth and pleasant guest experience.
Communication: Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and servers to ensure all orders are fulfilled correctly and promptly.
Quality Control: Ensure that all dishes meet the restaurant’s quality standards before they leave the kitchen.
Cleanliness: Maintain cleanliness and organization in the expo area and assist with keeping the kitchen and dining areas clean as needed.
Support: Assist servers and kitchen staff with various tasks during busy periods, including refilling water glasses, clearing tables, and resetting dining areas.
Teamwork: Work collaboratively with the entire restaurant team to ensure efficient service and a positive guest experience.
Qualifications:
Experience: Previous experience in a similar role in a high-volume restaurant is preferred but not required.
Skills: Strong organizational and multitasking skills. Ability to work quickly and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Communication: Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with both kitchen and front-of-house staff.
Attention to Detail: Keen attention to detail to ensure accuracy and quality in food delivery.
Physical Stamina: Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, and lift and carry food trays.
Team Player: Positive attitude and ability to work well as part of a team.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand for extended periods.
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.

Pay: $11.00 - $13.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
