The HR & Payroll Manager will manage the entire HR and Payroll process. Job responsibilities include, but not limited to the following:
Payroll/Benefits Administration:
o Process payroll timely and accurately
o Publish Company payroll and holiday schedules
o Administer the Company’s Paid Time Off (PTO) program
o Administer the Company’s Paid Sick time policy
o Administer employee health insurance programs, including medical, dental, vision, Cobra, and 401(k)
o Review and approve employee health insurance invoices, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of payments
o Perform audits of employee files as necessary
HR Compliance:
o Ensure organizational compliance with Federal, State, and Local regulations including, but not limited to, Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO), the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA), the Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA), the California Family Right Act (CFRA), the Employee Retirement Income Security Act (ERISA), Workers’ Compensation, and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA)
o Ensure employee compliance with all Company policies
o Ensure Company and employee compliance with Federal, State, and Local wage laws
o Ensure compliance with Employment Eligibility Verification (I-9) requirements
o Ensure that all Company compliance posters are current and posted as required by law
o Proactively identify company HR compliance risks, and recommend and implement solutions for mitigating such risks
HR Administration:
o To set the standard for the Company, follow, support and abide by all HR policies and procedures
o Inform and guide the development of HR policy and initiatives, and manage their rollout and implementation organization-wide
o Update and maintain the Employee Handbook
o Participate in extracurricular meetings and/or functions contributing to employee morale
o Facilitate employee relations and company-wide communication of HR-related matters
o Schedule and manage Employee Performance Evaluations
o Recruit and staff open positions
o Manage the new employee onboarding process
o Process employee terminations
o Update the Company organizational chart
o Maintain job descriptions for all functions
o Produce, update, and distribute all documents related to the HR function
o Other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications:
A college degree is required; In addition, candidates must have:
o Three (3) years Payroll/HR management experience
o PHR or SPHR is strongly preferred
o A high proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
o Experience using ADP payroll systems and/or other HRIS

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $80,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
