Position: IT Manager
Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated IT Manager to join our dynamic real estate brokerage . The ideal candidate will oversee our IT infrastructure, manage employee onboarding, maintain and coordinate the brokerage MLS account, update our website, execute e-blast campaigns, manage the security system, and provide overall IT support. Responsibilities:
Overseeing IT Infrastructure:
- Manage and maintain all IT systems, hardware, and software.
- Ensure network security and data integrity.
- Implement and oversee cybersecurity measures and protocols.
- Regularly update and upgrade IT systems and infrastructure.
Employee Onboarding:
- Set up and configure new employee accounts, including email and access to necessary systems.
- Provide training on IT systems and tools used by the brokerage.
- Create and manage user accounts and permissions.
MLS Account Management:
- Oversee the brokerage’s Multiple Listing Service (MLS) account.
- Cross-reference contracts with terms in the MLS to ensure accuracy.
- Approve listings for public view on the MLS.
- Ensure compliance with MLS regulations and standards.
Website Management:
- Perform regular updates and maintenance of the brokerage’s website.
- Ensure the website is secure, functional, and user-friendly.
- Collaborate with the marketing team for content updates and enhancements.
E-Blast Campaigns:
- Design and manage email marketing campaigns.
- Segment email lists and ensure compliance with email marketing regulations.
- Analyze campaign performance and provide reports to the marketing team.
Technical Support:
- Provide technical support to staff for hardware, software, and network issues.
- Troubleshoot and resolve IT-related problems promptly.
- Maintain an IT helpdesk system for tracking and resolving issues.
Data & Vendor Management:
- Ensure proper data backup and recovery processes are in place.
- Manage data storage solutions and cloud services.
- Implement data protection and privacy measures.
- Liaise with IT vendors and service providers.
- Manage contracts and service agreements with external IT partners.
IT Policy Development:
- Develop and enforce IT policies and procedures.
- Conduct regular IT audits and assessments.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and best practices.
Marketing Collaboration:
- Work with the marketing team to integrate IT solutions with marketing strategies.
- Assist in the design and implementation of digital marketing tools and platforms.
Security System Management:
- Oversee and manage the brokerage's security system.
- Ensure all security protocols are maintained and updated as needed.
- Coordinate with security vendors to ensure system functionality and compliance.
Professional Development:
- Stay updated on the latest IT trends and technologies.
- Attend relevant training and certification programs to enhance skills and knowledge.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
- Proven experience as an IT Manager or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, systems, and best practices.
- Experience with MLS systems and real estate industry standards is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving and project management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Marketing experience is a plus.
