We are currently seeking a Speech Language Pathologist to work with children in the school setting. The ideal candidate will be committed to using evidence-based practices to conduct assessments and providing excellent treatment to help their students make progress in communication while collaborating effectively with their school team and families. Our goal is to provide excellent training and mentorship for our SLPs and offer career growth opportunities as they progress in their profession.
The Role:
- Manage a caseload of students with communication disorders
- Plan and provide assessments using a combination of standardized and performance-based tools to target each students' specific areas of need
- Write clear and concise evaluation reports that are legally defensible
- Consult and collaborate with families and school team members to ensure the speech language services and relevant modifications/accommodations are appropriate for the student as they learn and grow
- Consistently take data to track student progress and document the full range of services, communication and support you are providing them and their school team and/or family
- Log services and assessments in a timely manner
- Draft and present IEPs at annual and triennial IEP meetings according to the necessary timelines
- Identify areas of personal, professional and clinical growth and pursue improvement in these areas as the year progresses
- Support and collaborate with other SLPs as they develop specialty skills or need advice or mentorship on relevant issues
Qualifications:
- Masters Degree from a Speech-Language Pathology or equivalent program
- Valid California SLP License or
- Eligibility for a RPE / Temporary SLP License in California
- 1 year of Childcare, Health or Education Work Experience
- Experience providing working with preschool or school-aged children
- Strong interpersonal communication, critical thinking and collaboration skills
- Experience working with systems such as SEIS, Aeries or other IEP software
- Strong written communication skills
- Clinical Fellows are encouraged to apply!

Pay: $73.00 - $90.00 per hour
