Diesel Truck Technician
RiverLift operates a fleet of 25 dump and flatbed trucks that run out of our terminal located in West Elizabeth, PA.
We are looking for a Diesel Truck Technician to help us maintain and repair our fleet of heavy-duty trucks at our brand new 19,000 sf repair facility. The ideal candidate should have 3 or more years of experience repairing trucks & trailers, or equipment.
Summary of Position:
Your job will be to perform mechanical repairs and preventative maintenance on a variety of heavy-duty trucks and trailers.
Responsibilities include:
- Perform minor and major repairs on trucks and trailers
- Conduct regular preventative maintenance
- Perform service calls for emergency breakdowns (local)
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 3 or more years of experience repairing trucks & trailers, or equipment.
- Must have own tools up to ¾ inch.
- Applicant must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening test.
- Must be willing to work flexible hours, including overtime
The following preferred skills are a plus, not necessary:
- PA Class 8 Inspection license
- Welding experience
The pay rate is commensurate with experience.
