Overview:
Real Estate Related is seeking experienced Contract Attorneys with expertise in real estate litigation to join our team. We specialize in the distressed property foreclosure industry and require individuals with excellent writing skills, litigation experience, and mentorship capabilities. This position offers a unique hybrid opportunity, allowing remote work while attending court hearings as necessary within your designated state.
Areas of Potential Responsibilities:
- Lead counsel in litigation cases, focusing on appellate court litigation.
- Manage all aspects of discovery with expertise.
- Produce compelling and effective briefs.
- Identify arguments and construct robust cases for potential appeals.
- Maintain an aggressive approach to litigation, utilizing all legal tools to our advantage.
- Dedicated to setting case law rather than settling, maintaining an offensive stance throughout case resolution.
Potential Qualifications Based on Contract Work:
- Minimum 5 years of full-time litigation experience, preferably in a lead counsel capacity.
- Expertise in appellate court litigation preferred.
- Extensive knowledge and experience in managing discovery processes.
- Exceptional writing abilities, specifically in crafting persuasive briefs.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills to build comprehensive legal strategies.
- Proven track record of aggressively pursuing cases to achieve advantageous outcomes.
Requirements:
- Bar License in South Carolina required; licenses in North Carolina or Texas welcomed.
- Flexibility to work remotely (hybrid position) and travel within the state for court hearings as required.
- Part-time availability, Monday to Friday, with flexible hours. Full-time potential based on performance.
