Movara Fitness Resort Philosphy: Nutrition, Movement & Mindset
Nutritionally, Movara does not support trendy diets such as high protein, low carb, keto, strict macros, no sugar, high fat, carnivore, etc. Instead, Movara advocates for the plate method, emphasizing foods that are high in nutrients rather than calories. We also promote understanding and adhering to appropriate caloric needs.
When it comes to physical activity, Movara believes that any movement is better than none. We emphasize the importance of overall movement without prioritizing one type of activity over another. We encourage consistency and do not support unrealistic, unsustainable training methods. Movara promotes daily cardio, strength, and stretching activities. We discourage using physical activity solely as a means for weight loss, instead teaching the reality of the calorie expenditure and intake exchange to help avoid frustration.
We believe that mindset is the third and equally important factor in health, fitness, and weight loss. Establishing accurate beliefs is crucial, as they lead to positive emotions and actions that fulfill basic needs. Movara emphasizes the importance of love driving our actions, rather than fear.
