Job Description:
National Enrichment Group (NEG) is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Administrative Support member to join our team and contribute to our mission of enhancing communities.
Position Summary: The Administrative Support team member will assist the administrative team at National Enrichment Group with various administrative tasks, including staffing, onboarding of instructors, purchasing materials for upcoming programs, going to programs for site visits and managing schedules in our internal scheduling software. This is a great part-time opportunity for a tech-savvy college student or a parent with children in school with a flexible schedule and experience in onboarding, scheduling and other admin support tasks. This job offers a great opportunity to gain practical experience in a dynamic and supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Staffing Support:
- Assist in the recruitment process by posting job openings, reviewing applications, and joining interviews.
- Maintain and update staffing records and databases.
- Onboarding of Instructors:
- Coordinate the onboarding process for new instructors, including preparing onboarding materials and documents.
- Ensure all necessary documentation is completed and filed appropriately.
- Help admin provide support and resources to new instructors to facilitate their integration into the organization.
- Purchasing Materials:
- Assist in the procurement process of materials that are needed for upcoming programs.
- Maintain inventory records and ensure timely replenishment of materials.
- Scheduling Management:
- Input and update program schedules in the internal scheduling software.
- Ensure accurate and up-to-date scheduling information is available.
- Other admin support tasks
Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing or completed a degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, communications or a related field.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient in Google Suite and comfortable learning new software.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team environment.
- Previous administrative or support experience is a plus but not required.
Location/Schedule:
- Must be located in New York or the Tri-State area.
- Part-time with growth potential.
- Remote with occasional site visits throughout NYC.
- 10:00am-3:00pm- Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday. Flexibility in days and times.
