Job purpose
- The Customer Service Representative will support the operations team along with the Outside Sales Representatives. The CSR will have both direct and indirect contact with all customers, external and internal. Their primary responsibilities will be to provide information to inquiries on rental and sales products and services. CSR’s will also be responsible for providing quotes, technical specifications, and handling and resolving customers complaints, and locating equipment.
Duties and responsibilities
- Intake customer inquiries for equipment rental, order status, and general questions
- Solid MS Excel experience preferred
- Review customer orders to confirm that equipment, accessories, consumables, quantities, price and any special contract instructions are understood
- Issue quotes for equipment rental based on availability, standard pricing and terms and conditions
- Cold-call prospects that are generated by external sources of lead
- Handle inbound, unsolicited prospect calls and convert them into sales
- Assist in scheduling delivery and pick-up of equipment with customers
- Assist in branch sales and marketing efforts through outgoing phone calls
- Communicate customer Order Confirmations and following up upon delivery
- Record and update database CRM details for every inquiry
- Maintaining contract files and customer correspondence
- Record & investigate customer
- Promote a positive Health and Safety attitude
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- High School Diploma/GED or Higher
- 2 years of Customer Service Experience, preferably in the environmental/safety or rental field
- Excellent Communication Skills- Written, Verbal, Interpersonal, and Phone
- Ability to think analytically, with focus on problem troubleshooting
- A flexible and strong team player that can work in a fast paced environment
- Microsoft Office proficient
